Profile

Throughout my 13-year career in the turfgrass industry, I have had the privilege to work at one of the top clubs in the country, Oak Hill Country Club.

I started working at Oak Hill in 2011 as a seasonal intern. I graduated from SUNY Delhi in December of 2014 with a Bachelor of Golf and Sports Turf Management. I was immediately hired full-time upon graduation to fill the role of the Spray Technician. Each year I was able to work my way up through the organization at Oak Hill, and now serve as the East/West Superintendent. I’ve had not only the opportunity to be trained but also mentored by some of the top leaders in the business, many of whom are now superintendents at top clubs across the country.

With a precise concentration on turf quality and overall plant health, I have been able to produce phenomenal results with green speeds and aesthetics across the entire property. I was also heavily involved with the restoration that took place on the famed East Course starting in August 2019. I worked in conjunction with Andrew Green and the Manager of Golf Course and Grounds on the project, totaling over $5M.

My 13 seasons employed at Oak Hill Country Club encompasses a large portion of my career. The quality conditions provided on the East and West Courses to the membership during my tenure is due to my passion for this property and overall industry. My goal is to bring this identical mindset to my next club. I am committed to the ideal situation and club for the long-term future.

Understanding what it takes for a golf course to play at the highest level is very important to me. My strong work ethic, communication and leadership skills will prove itself in the overall conditioning of your golf course.
